One of our favorite things about Mexico are these various roadside shrines. Most mark the space where someone spent the last moment of their lives. . To have this visual reminder of impermanence and the fragility of our lives ever present all around does change the way you think. At least I’ve found it does. . How would you live your life differently if you were very familiar with the fact that we cannot know when our last moment will be? Because we can’t know, not ever.
